 Volunteer Admin Assistant (20 hours to suit)

 Job Description

Purpose of the job
To assist the smooth running of the admin function of the charity.  Support and training will be given to the right candidate.

Please note: this role is voluntary.  However, reasonable travel expenses will be paid.

Responsible to: Operations Manager  Location of role: SOAR Works, S5 9NU Sheffield

Main duties/responsibilities
o   Management of incoming and outgoing post

o   Answering the phone and dealing with enquiries

o   Fulfilling orders

o   Filing of all paperwork

o   Support Operations Manager role

o   Any other general admin duties as required

Indicative Experience, Qualifications and Abilities
  • good communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • ability to work with others in an office environment
  • demonstrate integrity working with confidential and highly sensitive information
  • familiar with software programmes such as Word
