Dementia Small Grant

The Dementia Small Grants are now open!

The Dementia Small Grants round is a branch of the Let’s Build Health Grants, and are available to help create opportunities and develop local activity that improves health and wellbeing for people living with dementia and their carers.

The Grants will be available across the four North East Sheffield People Keeping Well (PKW) Partnerships in Burngreave, Firth Park, Southey and Chapelgreen.

We want to allocate funding for activities in these neighbourhoods which will support the overall aims of the PKW Community Partnership and provide support for people with dementia and their carers, including (not exhaustive):

  • Increased awareness of and involvement in community activities
  • Improved understanding and awareness of dementia of ways to live a healthy life
  • Making current activities, organisations or buildings more dementia friendly

This will be a six month rolling programme, you can submit an application between 1st December 2020 and 31st May 2021, and the fund panel will meet quarterly to decide on the outcome of applications. There is a strong chance that the money will be allocated before the end of the grant round so we encourage applicants to submit in a timely manner.
